Glossary

TheSchool's terms explained simply.

Annexe : A site or building of the school. Rooms, and therefore classes, belong to an annexe. Directors and administrators only see the data of their annexes.

Class : A group of students (for example "1st A"), attached to a room and a level.

Convocation : An invitation for parents to a meeting with the school, with its minutes.

Daily Presence / Session : The two ways to record absences: once a day per class, or at each lesson. Your school uses one or the other.

Daily Report : The summary of a student's day for their parents (mood, meals, nap…).

Extra Fee : Fees added to an enrolment on top of tuition (transport, canteen…).

Graduate (Graduer) : Enrol several students at once in their new class (moving up a level). Their old enrolments become inactive.

Health Survey : A health report about a student, usually sent by the parent, which the school replies to.

Instalment : A part of a payment, with its own due date (paying in several times).

Level Fee : The tuition amount for a level. It's the basis of each enrolment's total.

Payment : The total amount due for an enrolment, created automatically if your school has enabled it.

Scholar Year : The current school year. Only one is active at a time: lists only show its data.

Student Subscription : The link between a student and their class for the year (the enrolment). It sets their tuition amount.
